We set out to solve this by designing a simple, intuitive system that takes the guesswork out of shared laundry spaces. A streamlined interface now shows real-time machine availability, with color-coded statuses (Green = Available, Orange = In Use, Gray = Reserved) to make it instantly clear. Plus, smart notifications remind users when their laundry is done, reducing forgotten loads and unnecessary trips. One key takeaway? Simplicity wins. A clutter-free design with clear indicators made a huge difference in usability. Action-driven notifications significantly improved response times, helping keep machines moving efficiently.
